Showing of De Lima’s scandal at Congressional Hearing approved.

To prove the real relationship of Senator Leila De Lima and her driver and alleged driver Ronnie Dayan, lawmakers who investigated the proliferation of drug syndicates at National Bilibid Prison proposed that the video scandal allegedly involving De Lima and her alleged lover be shown at the next session.

House Speaker Pantaleon Alvares said on Wednesday that he finds no problem or illegal in showing the video scandal of De Lima at the House Inquiry if that would be the only wait to confirm De Lima’s relationship with her driver.

The House Speaker also denied that the goal of the proposal to play the scandal video was to shame the former Department of Justice Secretary.

He believes that Senator De Lima must attend the investigation and prove in front of the lawmakers that she is not the one that involved in the video scandal.

Allies of Sen. De Lima reminded the congress and Department of Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II that showing the video is illegal.
